Map Servers Serveon can provide full GIS mapping servers for your hosted solution. We currently provide pest forecasting, GIS mapping and a variety of other needs. Our map servers run on the ARC IMS platform and can be integrated with a variety of enterprise systems using web services. Our systems can be scaled up to large corporate databases, as well as with field driven PDA applications. In addition, we can host a custom application with a web based user data entry system for your custom mapping needs. Pest Forecasting & Scouting Technology Most recently in conjunction with Ecostat Inc., of Florida, Serveon has been engaged to map Caribbean Fruit Fly infestation in the Indian River area of Florida, to help protect the grapefruit export market. This project, funded by the APHIS department of the USDA is a multi-year project to help protect the health of the industry. This system will be hosted at Serveon and include a web based user interface to create forecasts based upon historical weather modeling. Other forecasting projects have included pest forecast work for the turf and ornamental markets as well as the development of PDA driven tracking technology for rust mites on Florida citrus. Currently over 65,000 acres employ tracking and forecast systems utilizing Serveon developed applications. Serveon-based mapping technology has also been used in the soybean market, where spray status and infestation levels of aphids are collected and disseminated via a warning system in the Midwest. Chemical Systems Serveon is experienced in all aspects of the agricultural chemical industry and maintains a core competence and understanding of the legal, regulatory and marketing needs of this portion of the industry. Our systems are currently in use with several of the leading agricultural chemical companies and continue to expand. Serveon has built simple labeling systems for the distribution of labels, and also more complex workflow-activated platforms which interact with the organization’s enterprise CRM system. Watershed Reporting? We have worked with systems to report to the EPA on ground water contamination for raw and treated water and have built online systems to help conduct application field trials. Some of our systems have even integrated with farm management systems to allow for traceability and recordkeeping down to the level of specific harvest lots. PDA (Portable Computer) Development Serveon has a long history of working with portable computers and maintains a partnership with Symbol Technologies for the development of agriculture specific applications. Most recently, Serveon has developed wireless packing shed receiving systems, portable harvest collection systems, as well as harvest yield forecast systems. We have also developed and work with data collection devices for pest forecasting, temperature collection and mobile ticket or receipt printing.
